The Division of Continuing Studies vision is to lead Rutgers University to a position of national and international prominence in education, continuing professional development and lifelong learning through a progressive quality-based, adult-student oriented, distributed learning and service strategy.  In achieving this vision DCS provides services in support of the core academic mission of the University, and has served this mission since 1996.  DCS provides significant assistance and resources both to faculty and academic departments through partnerships aimed at strengthening the teaching mission of the University and expanding accessibility to Rutgers for emerging non-traditional communities.
